Late on President's Day, February 16th, snow began accumulating into the following morning. Total snowfall was near 7 inches. Plowing of the roads commenced in a timely fashion about noon. As for the cost, this was the first snowstorm of the season and the $300 retainer to Greentop was used along with additional cost of $100 per inch. The total cost for this storm is expected to be about $600 to $700 (by the HF Guardian) depending on the actual snowfall at the Georgetown Airport. Snow totals in Georgetown reported by WBOC Weather seemed about the same as at Heritage Farms on this occassion. The prompt service given by Greentop was appreciated.
